I've been asked a number of times over the past few months for news on when Adobe Certified Expert exams for CS3 would be ready for trainers, authors, and others wishing to document their proficiency in Adobe tools. I'm therefore happy to report that the exams have been updated.

Great news: Developers are building on top of the 3D features in Photoshop CS3 Extended to deliver some great solutions. As for the Strata news, "In a nutshell, the technology from Strata’s 3D[in] plug-ins for Photoshop CS 3 Extended is now integrated into the Suite," says the crew on 3Dlayer.com.

Photoshop guru David Biedny will teach a “Photoshop-Master Class” session at the Mac Support Store, an Apple Authorized Help Desk Specialist, Reseller, and Service provider in New York City. The session is free and will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28.
Biedny was a founding editor of the original MacUser magazine, and is currently a contributing editor for MacLife magazine. He created digital special effects at Industrial Light & Magic for motion pictures including Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country, The Rockteer and Hook.
