The speculation is all the more thrilling given that the affected companies are only lightly staffed right now, making it hard to provide a meaningful response.
This year it's "Lies, Lies, and Adobe Spies"--a story noting that some Adobe apps contact a Web address associated with Web analytics company Omniture.

The image is from a beta site by the name of Edushi, which has created a complete pixel-art representation of Hong Kong. Navigation elements are similar to those in Google Maps — zooming, panning and what appears to be a search box with a few options. Unfortunately our Chinese is a bit rusty (read: non-existent) so beyond that, we don't know much about this site other than the obvious fact that it's a visually stunning representation of Hong Kong.

Photoshop Lightroom has had somewhat of an identity crisis amongst the general population of photographers since its release in early 2007. The Adobe engineers built it to fill a gap in the Photoshop family of products (Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop Elements being the other two family members) but many amongst the photographic community have not been able to identify its primary task to make it the ‘must have’ product that Adobe hoped it would become for all digital photographers.

Diane Varner Of Daily Walks Photo Blog - Interview

Diane Varner posts photos to her blog Daily Walks about once a week and I always look forward to seeing her latest work. Her hyper-real photography is stunning and makes me meditate on each image longer than most photography does. It is this mesmerizing nature of her work that I find so deeply appealing. There is such a satisfying moment of balance and beauty that the details, colors and textures of her art reveal and celebrate.
"My hopes," Diane told us, "are such that these images will 'take you away' for a brief moment... and in that moment, you’ll catch a glimpse of the magic that I experience on my daily walks." Working With Adjustment Layers
